Hi, this is your neighbour - Evelina
If you’re here, I’ll assume you’re curious about starting your Pilates journey—or perhaps you’ve already decided to begin.
If you’re feeling nervous, I completely understand. Stepping into a new space, surrounded by unfamiliar faces and moving in ways that might feel new or challenging, can feel intimidating. That’s exactly why I’m here—to help you feel welcomed, supported, and safe.
Pilates is a beautiful practice for everybody. You don’t need experience, and you certainly don’t need to be flexible (I’m not particularly flexible myself). All I ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to explore the process.
We all start somewhere, and it would be a true honour to be part of your journey and guide you along the way.
Evelina is a certified Pilates Instructor, having completed a comprehensive Pilates course at Reformation Studio in 2023. The course has combined in-depth anatomy and physiology with qualifications in Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, and Barre.

My story
how did I get here
—
Neighbourhood Pilates was created to offer a calm, welcoming space where movement feels supportive, sustainable, and human.
Originally from Lithuania, I moved to Ireland in 2022 and discovered Pilates during a time when I was searching not only for a career that felt meaningful, but also for a deeper connection to myself and my body.
For years, movement had mostly been about appearance and pushing myself through workouts that never truly stuck. I tried everything — gyms, bootcamps, high-intensity classes — but movement often felt exhausting rather than supportive.
During lockdown, I discovered online Pilates classes and something shifted. For the first time, movement felt nourishing. I finished classes feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to myself rather than completely depleted.
Soon after moving to Ireland, I found reformer Pilates and fell in love with the experience even more. At the time, Pilates became more than exercise — it became a safe space during a period of loneliness and transition in my life.
That experience eventually led me to complete my comprehensive mat, reformer, and barre training through Reformation Pilates, and I’ve now been teaching full-time for over 2 years across studios, retreats, and private sessions.
